MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) –
Former NBA superstar Magic Johnson will be in Memphis Friday to announce a new scholarship for high school seniors.
Earvin “Magic” Johnson is known as one of the best basketball players of all time. Johnson is a five-time NBA champion and three-time NBA MVP.
On March 27, he’ll be at Booker T. Washington High School to hold an assembly for the students.
At the assembly, Johnson will talk about a $30,000 scholarship fund available to seniors who want to further their education at technical, community, or four-year colleges and universities.
The assembly is set for 10 a.m.
